In 2003 Hudson Homes started their first development. The land was purchased just
outside the loop in Nacogdoches and over the next 3 years they constructed 8 three
bedroom 2 bath homes to rent to mainly college students. In 2006 they sold the development as a whole to an investment company from California.
In 2006 they purchased the property for Hudson Subdivision. Directions: from the East
Loop in Nacogdoches head east on FM 1878 for approximately 5.5 miles to Cr 256 on
your left. The subdivision starts at the corner of FM 1878 and CR 256 and continues
down CR 256. This development consists of 6 homes Hudson Homes designed, built,
and sold and one custom home. The homes range from 2100 square foot heated and
cooled to 2700 square feet heated and cooled and are on 1 to 2 acre lots.
In 2007 they purchased the property for Sandstone Subdivision. This subdivision is
located off Tower Rd. in Nacogdoches. If you are headed south on University Dr., turn
left on Park St. and then a right on Tower Rd. and the subdivision will be on your right at
Hudson St. The transformation of the 5.6 acre homesite consisted of selling and
removing the old home, composing a blueprint for the 14 lot development, installing the
street, and running utilities to all the lots. Hudson Homes has constructed 10 homes between 1500 and 2300 heated and cooled square feet in this subdivision with the plans to start the next home in 2013.
